Flyboard Lessons

  1. Is it safe?
    • Yes. The Flyboard is very safe for first time riders as all the power is controlled by a professionally trained instructor.
  2. Is it difficult to learn?
    • The Flyboard has a very short learning curve and is super easy to learn. Most first time riders get the hang of it in under 10 minutes.
  3. How high do I go?
    • We start off at only a foot above the water and as you grow comfortable, we can get you higher. The average person gets around 10 feet on their first ride.
  4. How long is a ride?
    • A ride typically lasts around 20 minutes.
  5. What should I wear?
    • Guys: Boardshorts
    • Girls: Something a little more secure than a bikini. Some sort of athletic shorts and rash guard.
  6. I just had back surgery. Should I Flyboard?
    • Probably not. We are not medical professionals so definitely consult your doctor first if you have any sort of health issues. Keep in mind that learning to Flyboard can be physically demanding.
  7. Is there a minimum age requirement?
    • 15 is the minimum age limit. More importantly 90 lbs is minimum weight limit. Must have a parent or guardian signature if under 18.
  8. Are there weight restrictions?
    • The weight range is 90-300 lbs
  9. What if I just want to come watch someone Flyboard?
    • We have a floating tiki hut that is perfect for spectators. Due to limited space, there is a $20 ride-a-long fee. You will have full access to the floats and paddle boards on the tiki hut.

    • Go to Bristol Marina. There is plenty of parking there.

  2. What if we have a really big group? Can we rent your company out for the day?
    • Yes you can. The price will depend on the size of the group and what everybody wants to do. Call the office for a custom quote.
  3. What if it rains or there is bad weather?
    • Most of the time these summer rains are very short lived. Unless you get a phone call from us canceling, then be sure to show up. There is a gazebo on the marina that you can stay dry under while you wait out the rain. If there is lightening then we will have to cancel or reschedule.
  4. What is the refund & cancellation policy?
    • If there is bad weather and we cannot reschedule then we will provide you a refund. You must notify us 72 hours out for any other cancellations to be eligible for a refund.
    • Anyone that shows up intoxicated for Flyboarding, Paddling or Jet Ski Rentals will be unable to participate and will not be issued a refund.
    • Cancellations for private group events will result in the loss of deposits.
    • We reserve the right to cancel an activity without a refund if you misuse the equipment, put yourself, other customers, or employees in danger or if you do not listen to your guide/instructor. If you decide to stop the tour due to fear of water or the activity, we are not required to refund your money. Anyone that comes to participate in a water activity with us, must know how to swim. No refunds will be issued to those who cannot swim and choose to opt out of an activity that they reserved.
  5. Can we bring alcoholic beverages with us?
    • Yes. However, you cannot consume any alcoholic beverages prior to flyboarding, jet ski rides or going on a paddle tour.
  6. Do you have a camera on hand for video and photos?
    • Yes. We have a high definition GoPro and have video packages for sale for $45.
